A Framework for Recovery; Supervisory Training
A framework for Recovery is a cognitive reality model designed by
Gordon Graham to teach critical thinking skills that address specific
issues and challenges facing people in the process of recovery from
drug and/or alcohol addiction. The application driven
groups/workshops allow for immediate practice with applying the
concepts to real life situations.
Three day Supervisory/Facilitator training provides the following:
A 'hands-on' cognitive restructuring model specific to D&A
treatment that compliments current treatment modalities and the
overall recovery process.
Exercises and client self-assessment tools that assist clients
with the identification and internalization of challenges and
barriers to their personal growth and recovery process. Specifically
addresses denial, treatment, and relapse issues. You'll learn to
motivate and engage clients and staff by assisting them with vision development.
The presenters, Ms. Penny Pennachi, BRI II, MBBF, CAC, CCS, CCDP
and Eugene Middleton, BRI II, MBBF, CEAP have a combined experience
of fifty years in the conducting of trainings for professionals,
interventions for families and friends of individuals suffering from
the disease of Alcoholism or Chemical Dependency and the providing of
clinical services. Ms. Pennachi and Mr. Middleton have conducted
presentations through out the United States and in Europe, offering
an educational, informative and creative program.
